Monique Muskens is a professional hair and make-up artist for Film and Television. She spent her first year out of high school at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), studying a Diploma of Screen and Media (Specialist Makeup Services). Her passion for the arts has grown with her, as she continues to develop her creativity, skills, and enthusiasm from a young age.
Mon is adaptable to all environments, being qualified in Film, Television, Theatre, and Bridal makeup, while also offering both hair and wig styling. She is up to date with the latest trends, products, ingredients, and manufacturing processes, meaning you are guaranteed expertise with an eye for detail.
Since graduating, she quickly flourished in the film industry, working with the multimillion-dollar production company, Disney’s Marvel Studios. She has worked on countless short films, music videos, and TV series. She also has experience with television commercials, documentaries, and reality television. Outside of the film industry, she has taken charge of the makeup crew on large-scale Theatre productions, worked on award-winning fashion shows, and collaborated with up-and-coming models and photographers.
The power of makeup is transformative, it has the ability to deceive, encouraging the human brain to believe in the beauty and magic of semblance.
